Meet Emily, PMHNP-BC

Emily Leiner is a dedicated board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in healthcare and social work. She holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Yale University where she completed her nurse practitioner training, as well as a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Catholic University. A DMV native, she graduated from the University of Maryland and is a Terp at heart!

With extensive experience in community health, inpatient psychiatry, and private practice settings, Emily brings a comprehensive understanding of patient needs and the importance of accessible, personalized care. She values continuing education and completed focused training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute; as well as a fellowship in integrative and functional psychiatry that she is currently participating in.

When not at work, Emily can be found cooking, running, and spending time with family. She is looking forward to working with you (and any pets that would like to join!).
