Do you take insurance?

We are currently in-network with Carefirst, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, Aetna, Cigna, and United.

Please note your individual insurance plan determines what is covered and if there are any out of pocket costs.

How much do appointments cost, without insurance?

Initial psychiatric evaluation, 75 minutes: $400

Follow up appointment, 30 minutes: $200

Long follow up times for existing patients can be discussed with your provider.

If we are an out of network provider with your insurance carrier, superbills will be available for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

Who can make an appointment?

Adults residing in DC, Maryland, Virginia and NY.

Our clinic does not provide urgent care or emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911, the national suicide and crisis lifeline at 988, or visit the nearest emergency room. We are not accepting worker’s compensation appointments at this time.

How do I prepare for the initial appointment?

Please complete intake documentation at least 48 hours prior to the first appointment, so we are able to verify your health insurance benefits and obtain any required authorizations in time. Please notify us in advance if your insurance plan requires prior authorization to cover visits. Appointments without documentation completed may be asked to reschedule.

Do you offer telehealth?

We currently provide telehealth through our HIPAA compliant platform. Appointments can be accessed on a computer, phone, tablet, and on the Simple Practice patient portal app. The video link can be found in your patient portal and will also be sent via email. It is recommended that appointments take place in a private area with a good wifi connection.

How do I get refills?

Medications are sent at every appointment. If you run out of medication in between appointments, you can request a refill on our secure patient portal. Please attend appointments regularly in order to ensure continuity of medications. An appointment may be required for certain refill requests. Please call the pharmacy before requesting a refill to make sure its not already there!

What if I can’t make it to the appointment?

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 business hours in advance to avoid any a show fee ($150). We maintain this policy to ensure access to patients who need care, as each appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am - 4pm. Appointments for Monday can be changed no later than the end of day Thursday of the preceding week.
